Case Study: Creative Elements – Residential Remodeling Photography | DFW Metroplex

Staring in 2018, Impressia began partnering with Creative Elements, a residential remodeling firm based in Flower Mound, Texas. Founded by Lucie Hasek, the company has evolved from a decorative finishing studio into a full-service remodeling firm known for design-forward interiors and detailed craftsmanship.

Todd first reached out to Lucie after noticing the quality of her remodeling work — and how underrepresented it was in her existing photography. Like many remodelers, she had been relying on snapshots that didn’t fully capture the design or finish level. After reviewing the images from their first shoot, her response was immediate: “They are stunning!”

Since then, Todd has photographed 6 residential remodeling projects, delivering 20 professionally licensed images used in marketing, designer presentations, and client-facing materials. The imagery now reflects the standard of work Creative Elements is known for throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Case Study: Distinctive Dwellings – Residential Rendering Support | Southlake, Texas

Since 2017, Impressia has collaborated with Thayne Hillrichs, founder and lead designer of Distinctive Dwellings, a Southlake-based residential design firm specializing in custom luxury homes. Thayne, who trained under architects Michael Barnard and Gene Lam, established his firm to have full creative control over his designs — offering a highly personalized experience to clients across Texas and beyond.

While his technical plans and elevations were precise, Thayne needed a way to help clients emotionally connect with the early-stage concept drawings. Todd worked closely with him to develop a distinctive visual style — adding life, dimension, and atmosphere to otherwise sterile elevation drawings through the use of enhanced renderings.

By incorporating elements like sky, trees, and landscaping, the renderings became a powerful storytelling tool, streamlining client buy-in and speeding up the decision-making process. Since the collaboration began, Todd has producedo over 144 enhanced visual renderings to support Distinctive Dwellings' design presentations.

Case Study: Franz Architects – Consistent Architectural Photography Across Markets | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

Franz Architects, a Texas-based firm specializing in industrial, medical, and commercial design, has worked with Impressia for nearly a decade to build a reliable image library that reflects the scope and detail of their architectural work. With projects spread across more than 20 cities, they needed consistent, high-quality visuals that aligned with their professional standards and could support both marketing and client communication efforts.

The variety of work has included unique industrial, medical, and a variety of commercial buildings — each requiring clean, purposeful compositions and editing that preserves the integrity of the architecture. Case Study: Hilti – Commercial Imagery for Product Marketing, E-Commerce & Corporate Storytelling | Multiple Texas Locations

Hilti, a global leader in construction technology, partnered with Impressia to produce versatile photography across multiple campaigns and internal initiatives. Each project required a creative, responsive approach tailored to different visual needs — from on-site editorial-style imahes and product usage to e-commerce deliverables.

For Hilti’s state-of-the-art repair facility, Impressia was tasked with capturing a series of editorial-style images featuring employees in action. The approach emphasized storytelling — showcasing real environments and processes with careful attention to composition, lighting, and brand tone. These images were later used in internal and external marketing materials, earning strong praise from the Hilti team for both execution and editing.

In a second assignment, we joined Hilti on the construction site of the Blue Ciel Luxury Apartments in Dallas to photograph their latest construction tools in action. The resulting imagery highlighted products in real-world use — designed for use in presentations, digital campaigns, and product showcases.

Finally, Impressia produced a complete set of e-commerce-ready product photos for Hilti’s new line of cast-in firestop sleeves. Each of the five product variations was photographed in a clean, controlled setup, edited for technical clarity, and prepared for use across digital catalogs and sales platforms.

Throughout each engagement, Hilti’s marketing team noted the quality of the editing, the collaborative process, and the ability to adapt on-site — making the overall experience both productive and enjoyable.

Case Study: McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. – Award-Winning Model Home Photography for Sales and Marketing | Multiple Texas Locations

McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI), a leading Texas-based residential builder, engaged Impressia to provide high-impact photography for several of their model homes after being dissatisfied with results from a prior provider. The MHI team needed more than just basic interior shots — they sought images that could enhance their sales materials, highlight design features, and elevate their brand across multiple markets.

Impressia delivered a complete photographic approach that focused on clean compositions, thoughtful angles, and refined post-production to bring out the architectural and interior details of each space. The images were created with the homebuyer in mind — capturing warmth, clarity, and aspirational lifestyle cues while removing visual distractions.

One of the standout results was the twilight image of a Canyon Falls model, which became a cornerstone of MHI’s marketing for nearly three years. This project not only resonated with potential buyers but also earned recognition in the industry — winning a prestigious McSAM Award in 2015 for Best Architectural Photography.

Case Study: Prim Construction – Clean, Professional Imagery to Support a Commercial Contractor’s Growth | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

Case Study: RGA Architects – Expanding a Diverse Architectural Portfolio | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

RGA Architects first partnered with Impressia in 2016 after experiencing delays and underwhelming results from a previous photographer. With a wide-ranging portfolio that includes religious institutions, industrial campuses, and modern office environments, RGA needed a consistent photography partner capable of capturing design intent across different sectors and project types.

Since that first engagement, our collaboration has resulted in 20 completed project shoots — each designed to highlight architectural intent, construction detail, and spatial functionality. Whether documenting large-scale facilities or intimate worship spaces, Impressia focused on clarity, clean lines, and purposeful compositions tailored to support RGA’s proposals, presentations, and digital presence.

The updated imagery played a key role in refreshing RGA Architects’ website and portfolio, giving the firm a stronger visual identity that matches the sophistication of their work.

Case Study: Tonti Properties – Multi-Phase Photography for Award-Winning Multifamily Development | Frisco, Texas

Tonti Properties approached Impressia in 2016 during the early stages of Origin at Frisco Bridges, a multifamily community that would eventually become a flagship property in their portfolio. The project required a visual partner who could document construction progress, architectural features, and the final completed spaces — all while aligning with the developer’s brand and leasing goals.

Working across a 16-month window, Impressia delivered a series of curated image libraries that included exterior architecture, common areas, amenities, and twilight compositions. The photography was strategically timed to support different phases of marketing and leasing, allowing Tonti to maintain momentum even while construction was ongoing.

Origin at Frisco Bridges went on to win a 2017 McSAM Award for Best Architectural Design — a testament not only to the project’s design but also to the visual storytelling used to represent it. Case Study: On Deck Concepts – Restaurant Photography Supporting Growth, Marketing & City Approvals | Multiple Texas Locations

The relationship with On Deck Concepts began in 2017 when they licensed several architectural images we had created for one of their existing restaurant locations. The success of those images — used in city council presentations to support approval of a new concept — led to a broader collaboration focused on capturing the company’s expanding portfolio of restaurants across Texas.

Over time, Impressia photographed seven unique locations for the group’s family of brands, including BoomerJack’s Grill and Sidecar Social. Each shoot required careful planning to ensure the architecture and layout of each space could be appreciated without interference from signage, cluttered parking lots, or other environmental distractions.

Notably, the flagship Sidecar Social location — a 20,000-square-foot social lounge — presented opportunities to highlight complex interior design, atmospheric lighting, and exterior detailing, all of which required a blend of daytime and twilight photography to capture properly.

The resulting imagery has been used across On Deck Concepts’ digital marketing, investor presentations, internal branding, and online press.

Case Study: Goodwill Industries of Dallas – Visual Storytelling for Mission-Driven Marketing & Community Engagement | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas

Goodwill Industries of Dallas is a leading nonprofit focused on empowering individuals with barriers to employment through job training, placement, and long-term career support. As their programs expanded, so did their need for high-quality visuals that could communicate their mission clearly and professionally across digital and print platforms.

To support that goal, Impressia was brought in to photograph eleven retail store locations across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including stores in Denton, Lewisville, Garland, Mesquite, Plano, and Allen. The objective was not to show interior operations, but to create clean, professional images of each storefront — offering clear visual references to help customers locate and recognize each facility online and through mapping platforms.

In addition to the retail locations, two full days were spent at the main Dallas campus, documenting volunteers, staff, and program participants in action. These images were used to highlight the behind-the-scenes impact of Goodwill’s workforce development efforts, capturing the human side of their mission with clarity and care.

Impressia also photographed a key moment in the organization’s public outreach: the 2015 debut of Goodwill’s first annual fundraising luncheon, marked by the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas displaying the Goodwill logo in massive LED lights across its facade.

As one team member shared,
“Todd did an incredible job for Goodwill Dallas. He managed moving all over the property capturing the images we needed for our website, newsletter, annual report, and other marketing collateral.”

The resulting image library has been used to present a more polished, unified, and professional face to the public.

Case Study: Prime Design Cabinetry – Residential Cabinetry Photography | Dallas–Fort Worth

Prime Design Cabinetry is known for its precision craftsmanship and design-forward approach to custom cabinetry for kitchens, bars, offices, and utility spaces. While their work consistently delivered in person, their online portfolio didn’t reflect the same level of professionalism or polish — especially to high-end clients browsing platforms like Houzz or reviewing their website.

That’s where Impressia stepped in.

Todd initially reached out to founder Joe to offer support in elevating the firm’s visual presentation. Over the course of several months, Impressia photographed nine completed residential projects across multiple cities in Texas — producing clean, elegant images that showcased the design intent, material quality, and fine detailing of each installation. From soft-lit kitchen compositions to modern bar areas and functional office environments, the images provided a stronger sense of Prime Design’s capabilities and aesthetic sensibility.

In addition to the new photography, Impressia helped unify the brand’s image archive by editing older portfolio photos to better match the tone, lighting, and overall finish of the newly created work. This allowed Prime Design to preserve its project history while presenting a more consistent, elevated visual identity.

Beyond photography, Todd contributed copywriting for select marketing materials and produced a short promotional video to highlight several featured installations. The combined result: a more refined, confident, and customer-aligned digital presence across all platforms.

“I have nothing but great things to say about Todd Ramsey with Impressia. His photography services have helped grow my business considerably.”
“We revamped our website and the designers said it was hard to select photos — because they are all excellent. Bravo!”
